Creating an Inspired & Inspiring Space
Have you ever walked into a place and instantly felt magic in the air, a quality of aliveness? What creates this? I am fascinated by designing spaces that are inspired and inspiring. Since we spend most of our lives in our homes, businesses, our cities, how important is it that we love where we live, where we work, and that our environment reflects our consciousness from the inside out?

I’ve been brought to my knees in awe watching a sunset brewing in the Ecuadorian Andes, where from our quaint village it looked like there was a fire on the mountain. I’ve been spontaneously brought to tears by accidentally stumbling upon “The Thinker” in Paris perched in the middle of The Rodin Museum gardens. I’ve experienced a deep stillness inside The Rothko Chapel, the quietest place in all of Houston. I’ve sat in a hot tub at 10,000 Waves Spa in Santa Fe, New Mexico with snow dancing on my head, stars ablaze and had to run home to write a song afterwards.

It’s important to set an intention when creating your space. What do you want to feel when you’re in your space? What would you like others to experience when they walk through the door? As part of your spiritual journey and evolution, let your inner beauty shine into your outer world.

Be mindful. What do you love? What inspires you most? Are you surrounding yourself with these elements? Inspiration opens you up and creates connection with you and your universe. It’s time to be inspired!

Teal Thompson has been creating inspiring spaces and has been a conscious, professional organizing for more than a decade. Please contact her for a consultation to create your inspiring space today.
